Game 1 | Game 1 Outline |
The wizard begins to mumble something under his breath as you sprint into the forest. Your feet are beginning to hurt from the sharp stones and sticks, but you're making good time when suddently you feel so tired! It's so hard to move... you just want to lay down for a little while. You stumble, and your knees skid to the ground, your breath coming in long shallow wheezes.
*What are you doing?* demands the voice. *This is foolish! I'm here to help, not to force you! The desire is pointless if it is forced!*
You hear the sound of swift footsteps behind you, it must be the wizard! You stagger to your feet, but it's so hard... you collapse before you have gone 3 more steps. The last thing you see is the wizards boots crossing the ground towards you, and then his face leaning down to look at you in concern.
You awaken to the sounds of birds. As your eyes open, and the last vestiges of sleep drain slowly from your mind, you realise you are staring at a cottage roof. Reeds intertwined and laid on a latticework of beams. You blink slowly, and feel your body start to stir. With a jerk you sit up, suddenly remembering the wizards boots crossing the ground towards you. You sit up quickly, and as you do, you realise that you are in a bed. Soft batting rustles under you, and a rough homespun sheet slides off of you. With a gasp, you realise that you are completely naked, and clutch the sheet to your breasts.
*So modest... you deny your maidenhood but protect your bosom as any woman would...* the familar voice speaks quietly in your mind.
"What happened! Where am I?" You look around franticlly.
The voice chuckles softly. *Fear not for your modesty, OR your virginity. The wizard feard you had been struck mad by the wyrms attack. He cast a sleep spell upon you and took you to the nearest village.* you dont know how, but you do know that the voice is smiling. *A shame you were not awake for the journey. The wizard was very manly. And brave as well to carry you here alone. It has been 2 days since you paniced in the wood.*
"Where is he! What is this place?!"
*Careful, you almost sound as though you're concerned about him. That might be considered womanly wouldn't it? This is the village of Graven's Ford.*
You jump from the bed, winding the sheet around your torso as you do so. A single door leads out of the room, and a small window is shuttered above the bed you rested in. The sounds of common activity sound from outside, and beyond the door. Faintly, you can hear what sounds like the wizards voice. Calm, melodious and studious. He seems rather insistent upon something. You look around the room in confusion and indecision.
