Adjusting to a girl

Luckily, the woman [you were right; she is Rachel's -your- mother] believes you and lets you stay home for the day. Once she's gone and you're left alone, you spend about an hour trying to calm down and get control of yourself. After a while you decide you'd better get adjusted as best you can to being a girl. You first spend half an hour sitting, pacing, etc, trying to get used to the feel of your female body. You're able to adjust quicker than you thought - it doesn't feel 'normal', but you're able to ignore the oddity of having and feeling a pair of breasts and an emptiness between your legs [that is, it still feels weird, but you're able to ignore it].

Seeing a small, simplistic white purse/handbag on your desk, you check through it and [because there isn't much in it] quickly find your wallet with your ID. Your full name is Rachel Spence. You say it aloud: "Rachel Spence," It still feels strange speaking with your feminine voice, and although you understand your name is Rachel it doesn't feel quite natural. You spend the next half hour looking at yourself in the mirror (so you get used to seeing yourself as a girl) and repeating aloud to yourself that you're Rachel, using your full name every couple repeats (hoping to get used to your female voice and your new identity). After about another half hour, you stop. Your female voice still doesn't sound right to you but it doesn't feel nearly as weird; and you think you've gotten used to calling yourself Rachel, at least aloud.

You don't get dressed until over an hour later - you're taking this carefully, taking as much time as you need. When you do get dressed, it proves easier than you thought to get dressed as a girl – you have trouble with the bra but keep trying until you get it (it feels weird against your breasts, and you don't get used to it for a while afterwards) - without quite knowing why you pick a rather modest, short-sleeved knee-length light blue dress with a low but not revealing neckline. You refuse to use any of the cosmetics in the bathroom, though, and promptly throw them all in the trash.

You sit down on the bed. This can't be a dream - it feels way too real. This shouldn't be possible, but you somehow know that you are definitely, really, a girl now. You're still thinking of yourself as a guy, though something tells you that you won't ever be male again; you need to get used to the idea of being a girl, most likely forever.
