Destiny Comes to Pass

Without really thinking about possible consequences, you say

"It's Alyssa."

At the utterance of the name, you feel your memories getting foggy. Suddenly, you feel that being this Alyssa person is perfectly natural. You are sure you have always been Alyssa and don't give it a second thought. And so, it seems you will fulfill the prophecy after all.

"I have waited millennia for this day to approach, Alyssa. You are indeed the Maiden of Destiny who will destroy the Dark One. Do you accept?" Raijin asks.

"Of course. I will return peace to this land no matter what it takes!" you reply smiling at him.

"Excellent! Then I present you with this!"

He pulls out a bracelet embedded with a ruby and clasps it around your arm. The ends fuse together making the bracelet impossible to remove.

"This will grant you abilities you never dreamed of. Now go, Alyssa, and may the Gods be with you."

with that, you and the other two leave Raijin's domain and head back toward the prince's castle believing that you can conquer any obstacle he puts in your way. You smile as you approach the hoard of dark minions drawing your sword and charging into the fray. Then . . .
