Oh, thy noble hero.

As you accept the dangerous mission, everybody in the room cheers of relief. You are then treated to one night of fine food and festive activities before you head off in the morning.

Accompanied by your recently given squire, you pass through the town, where the peasants cheer and wish you the best of luck. And for a moment, you feel invincible.

But this feeling dissapears when you arrive at the forest. The dark pine trees reach to the skies, and prevents sunlight from entering. So it almost feels like night as you pass through.

Fear doesn't hit you until you see a large boulder where someone has painted with blood: "Beware ye all who enter, and abandon all hope. For I, the wizard Specules, shall hang ye from a rope."
