Game 1 | Game 1 Outline |
You take a right, unsure of where it will lead you. After walking for a few minutes in the damp, dark cave, you decide to sit down. Bad idea. The rock that you sit on sinks through the ground, and so do you. You hit the ground hard. You find yourself in a strange room, with only a rack that looks like it's used to torture people, fit with hand and foot restraints, in the center of the room. Two torches are on either side of the cave beneath the cave.
"Well, well, well," says a voice behind you. You turn and look. A massive spider is standing right behind you. You let out a yelp and crawl backwards, away from it.
"I'm Queen Arachne," the spider says. "There hasn't been a visitor to my chamber in thousands of years."
"Hi," you respond. "Where's the exit?"
"There only way out is if you give me what I want," she says. "And that's information about your home city, traveler. I know where you come from, and with information like you have on your city, I could easily invade it. Just tell me how to take down the city, and I will let you leave my cave, with no injury."
"I can't just betray my home!" you yell.
"Good," Queen Arachne says. "Then prepare to be tortured."
She lunges at you, and everything goes black.
You wake up a few hours later, your hands restrained above your head and you feet stuck below. You're on the torture rack. You wiggle your feet, desperately trying to free them, but you can't. They are just far apart enough from each other that you can't touch one with the other. You do the same wiggling with your hands. Nothing works.
"You're awake," Queen Arachne says, "good. Now, one last chance to give me the information."
"I'll never talk," you say.
"Okay," Arachne says. "Then my army of female spiders will now work you over. Good luck." She brushes your feet with one of her legs. You giggle.
Instantly thousands of tiny spiders crawl from the walls of the cave right over to you. They scuttle over your defenseless bare feet, and you begin to giggle like crazy. They crawl in between your toes, on your soles, arches, and heels. You wiggle your feet trying to shake them off, but it doesn't work. Other spiders crawl under and above your shirt, tickling your belly. They also move all over your armpits, causing you to laugh ever harder than before, as you endure this ticklish fate. The small spiders are slowly driving you insane; one hundred times worse than if a human were to tickle your feet, belly, and armpits.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" you squeal, as the spiders scuttle all over your body. "I can't take it! I'm too ticklish!!!"
"Give up your city and it can all be over," Queen Arachne says. Do you have a choice?
