Onward and Upward

After a brief rest and trying to remove as much of the goo from your fur as you can (resulting in a thinner, but still sticky coating that slicks your fur down and makes your extremely long tail look like a garden hose), you get up and continue through the grass in what you hope is the right direction. It seems to be going back up hill, and the height of the grass finally starts to decrease. It is dark by the time you reach the edge of the forest, bits of dry grass clinging all over you. As you reach the edge of the forest, you look back at the field you just came through. You can see a trail of lights that seem to go around the depression you had just walked through enter the forest on your right. It looks like it might continue back around not too far from where your nest was originally. You decide to head towards the lighted path and enter the forest from there.
