You were right to suspect that grues were swarming around the place so, instinctively, you turn into a quaw. Every grue knows that a quaw is as dangerous as two or even three optleiks put toghether, therefore they start jumping and twisting around the root of the only pink rkq tree left after the explosion, in sign of desperation, which makes you consider turning back into a green kealg. Naturally.
