Game 1 | Game 1 Outline |
You decide to try teleporting yourself first, but then you have an odd thought. "If I try to teleport myself, will I lose the clothes I'm wearing?" you wonder. "Or will I accidentally only teleport part of my body?" You fear that your inexperience with your powers could cause you harm. You turn to the strange blonde woman and ask her if she could demonstrate her teleportation power for you.
The blonde woman seems to sense your uncertainty. "Just think about where you want to teleport to. Nothing bad will happen," she reassures you. "Observe." She disappears, then materializes three feet away from you. You yelp, startled by her sudden reappearance.
"That was . . . that was amazing," you manage to say, trying to regain your composure.
The blonde woman gestures toward you. "Go on, use your power. Your instincts will guide you."
You think about teleporting to a spot five yards off to your right. You disappear. When you reappear, however, you instead find yourself about five feet above the spot where you had just been standing.
"Uh ohhhh!" you shout as you fall and land butt first. "Ouch!"
The blonde woman smiles. "Don't worry. It took time for me to master my abilities as well. I was fortunate, though, to learn to control my powers at a younger age than you."
You slowly rise to your feet and dust off the dirt covering your skirt and pantyhose. "I don't suppose you could make me invulnerable while I'm getting the hang of this teleportation power?"
The blonde woman smiles again, then looks grimly towards the sky. "I fear that you will find mastering your new powers to be a much less painful task than battling the Fregalians."
"You really think I'll be ready to fight in time?" you ask dubiously.
"Do you need me to remind you of the alternative?" the blonde woman responds.
It does not sound as if you have much choice. "Help me to learn to use my powers," you ask her.
