Things, as strange as they sound, are explained

The man gets out of the PT cruiser and starts to explain. "This machine I have is supposed to give any male, either human or animal, complete understanding of women. But, I guess it worked too well that it turned the both of you into women!" Richard says "That makes sense, I think. But, how is this going to sound in my report?" I replied "I don't think that the station is going to believe that you're the male police officer that pulled me over. No offense." I looked at the man with the machine. "So, can you change us back to normal?"

The man looked at us. "I think so, but the adjustments might take a while."
