You pick up the harmless-looking book. Could this be the cause of your sudden mutation? After all, Ionesco's play is about people turning into rhinos. And you did read through it just last night. But how could the mere act of reading a paperback cause such an astonishing metamorphosis?
Something on the front cover catches your attention: the words "Special Edition" in large gold letters. Special? That's putting it mildly.
Intrigued, you turn to the title page, where you read, "Special Edition published by TSA." TSA? Never heard of them. You read further:
"The Transformation Story Archive (TSA) is a large anthology of stories that focus on physical transformation, be it by magic, technology or whatever method the mind can think of. Currently there are ..."
A horrifying thought occurs to you. Couldn't there be other "Special Editions" in circulation? If so, then hundreds--perhaps thousands--of other people might be transforming at this very moment!
