If you catch yourself, you realise, you may alter the future, keeping yourself from gaining your powers. You decide to use the erase card to temporarily remove the wolf from exsitance. You hide in the shadows and watch events unfold. Just when the wolf is about to disappear, you use the Erase card and wipe him from existance. The events play out as they did before, and you receive your powers and use the Return card to go into the past. I've done it, you think, I won! Then the erase card glows again, and the wolf reappears with a flash. "Did you really think that you could get rid of me that easily?" he gloats. "I know you're from the future. But now, the protection clause doesn't apply, for you are not of this time. Prepare to die."
