Without hesitation, you run off into the night, searching for a crime in progress. You manage to go unnoticed until just the right moment, when you spy a scuffle in a convenience store just across from you. Wasting no time, you charge through the door and emit a deafening howl.
A masked man freezes before you. "It's a werewolf!" he shouts.
A second man, also masked, drops his gun. "And he's wearing glasses!" he elaborates.
With a swipe of your paw, you rid yourself of your glasses and howl again. One of the bandits embarrasses himself, and before you can take further action, he and his partner burst out of the building and into the surrounding darkness.
"Gee, thanks! You saved my life," gushes the clerk. You try to ask whether he is all right, but you can make only guttural sounds. Oh, well. You nod and exit the convenience store, hoping to thwart another robbery before sunrise. Meanwhile, the clerk wipes his brow and cracks open an ice-cold beer. More than likely, this was his first encounter with a vigilante werewolf.
