"Not so fast, Newsboy. If you expect to turn into a Newshound, you'd better have one of your friends take notes, because I expect to be well-paid for my services," you inform Darryl.
Darryl is so keyed up he says, "Sure. Parker, get your pen out."
"Got it. And paper too."
"Good," you say, "now take this down."
"First, I need a place to stay. Second, I need someone to pay the bills so no one will come looking for me until I'm ready. Third, I need an unlimited supply of food delivered on a regular basis. If you can arrange all that, then I'll be glad to initiate you into the furry side of life."
Darryl says, "No prob. Let's go over to my house and get started."
"Thanks, man. You don't know what a load that takes off my mind."
Fred starts howling at the moon about this time and stops suddenly when you hit him up side of the head.
"Ow! Hey, what's the idea?"
"At least wait till we get there!"
As you all pile into Darryl's car, he says over his shoulder:
