Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
"Okay, Fred," you wheeze to your lupine companion, "here's the plan. When I give the signal, head for..." Your voice drifts away as you notice that the wolf is no longer at your side. Twisting your head around, you spot Fred standing a few feet behind you.
Despite the heat of the day, your blood runs cold. Fred is in bad shape. His eyes appear glazed and unfocused, his breathing is hoarse and labored, and he seems to be losing his balance.
"Fred?"
Fred's eyes roll back in his head. With a horrible gurgling sound, the corpulent wolf flops heavily onto his side, his tongue lolling from his mouth. A child in the audience screams.
"Fred!"
Suddenly oblivious to your aching knees, you dash to Fred's side. Tenderly, you cradle the wolf's head in your pudgy paws, desperately looking for signs of life.
