To Tell the Truth

Your cover is blown. You may as well tell Mr. Timber Wolf the whole story and hope for the best.

"Instead of telling you who I am," you sigh, sinking onto a small couch to rest your complaining knees, "it'll be more helpful if I tell you what I am."

"I'm listening," Timber Wolf replies evenly.

You proceed to describe in detail the bizarre events of the past few days, beginning with your initial encounter with Fred. You include all your transformations, from human to otter to human again to hippo to wolf. For good measure, you throw in your suspicions regarding A.J. Raffles and how your search led you to Animaland.

As you wind up your speech, it occurs to you that Timber Wolf is still wearing his full costume. Why doesn't he take off that damn wolf head?, you think. I can't tell if he believes me or not if I can't see his...

Timber Wolf unexpectedly raises an eyebrow, startling you. Is it just your imagination, or are Timber Wolf's "costume" features becoming remarkably animate?
