Wolf, cat, does it matter?

As you stand there in the alleyway, the changes come. You find you approve of your body becoming more sleek and graceful, but a question tugs at your mind ... before you can ask, though, Katrina speaks:

"I could use my magic to speed up the change if you like."

That gives you the perfect opportunity for the question that you can no longer hold back.

"Hmmmmm, not yet. First, I have one question ... why do you want me to be a were-cat? I mean, I do like you and all, and I don't have anything against were-cats, believe me, but I would like to know why. I mean, wouldn’t you, if you were going to make one of the biggest choices in your life?"

She falls silent for a time, even as you change further. Then she says...
