Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
It is nearly midnight when you and Albert get back to your apartment. The gator's story has left you so shaken that you can't sleep, so the two of you sit down in the living room.
"Albert?" you venture. "Could you...stay? Overnight?"
"Of course I'll stay," the gator replies. "I wouldn't leave you alone at a time like this."
"Thanks," you smile. "That means a lot to me." Quite suddenly, you begin to cry. "I'm scared, Albert," you snivel. "Can you believe it? I'm bigger and stronger than I've ever been in my life, and I'm scared out of my wits. What's going to happen to me? Will I mutate into some sort of freak? Or shrivel up, like that tiger? Maybe I won't wake up at all..." Your voice degenerates into a series of heaving sobs.
Albert walks over and hugs you tightly. "I'm here for you, pal," he whispers. "No matter what happens, I'll be here for you."
You feel safe and warm in the gator's firm embrace. Eventually, you drift off into a deep sleep.
