Tummy Trouble

First you need to see if you can still walk. After much twisting and squirming, you manage to get your stubby legs under you. With a tremendous heave, you slowly lift your bloated body off the floor. So far, so good. You take a step...and immediately lose your balance. You topple forward, landing squarely on your soft, round belly. There is a resounding thud, and the entire room shakes. You lie on the floor for a minute or two, breathing heavily.

You try again. This time you extend your heavy tail behind you as far as it will reach, to counterbalance your overgrown gut. This time you succeed. Balancing yourself carefully, you waddle from the kitchen to the bedroom. Your binge has left you drowsy as well as fat, and you figure that the best thing to do is sleep it off. You flop heavily onto the bed, snagging the sheets on your sharp gator claws.

"Maybe things will look better in the morning," you think, rolling onto your back. Within seconds, you are fast asleep.
