You hug Fred as tears roll down your face, but, as she wipes the tears away, Fred realises that they are tears of happiness.
She pulls you tenderly to her breast, and gives you a tender kiss on the cheek.
At last you have found a mother, having lost your original mother at five and been placed in an orphanage. It seemed that the wish picked up this longing, and matched it up with Fred's need to be a woman. A change of gender was a small price to have paid to be able to grow up with memories of a happy childhood.
