You leap for the pulsing vein in the beast's throat, hoping to kill it in an instant. It swats at you with its giant talons, but it moves very slowly, knocking you off course ... and into his mouth!
Your headlong momentum carries you to the back of his throat, triggering the creature's gag reflex. Karok, caught in the spasm of his throat muscles, violently coughs you out, throwing you to the grass ... covered in saliva, almost unconscious, but alive. You try to gather your thoughts, but you realize there's no time for that! As the beast chokes, you hobble off as fast as your wet, bruised legs can carry you, wondering whether to warn everyone you know or try to assemble an army to defeat the beast.
