"Sorry I beat you up...let's be friends!"

"Hey Fred! I'm sorry I kicked you. I don't know what came over me," you say, feeling compelled to do so.

"Forget it! It's not important!"

You are surprised by the Wolf's attitude, but then think "I am glad we're such good friends! Aren't we?" You feel confused, unable to remember WHEN you became friends.

Jim interrupts your thoughts. "This is much better! Introductions are in order. My name is Jim. And you are...?"

"Scott... and this is Fred." "Hello!"

"Pleased to meet you, Fred! It is wonderful that you two are getting along so well. I hope your friendship will continue, but I must go. I have a meeting I must attend. Later, guys!"

You are certain that Jim created the friendship between you and Fred with some type of magic. Should you confront him? It does not seem a good idea to challenge a magician, especially since this magic has not harmed anyone. Why not be friends with the Wolf? OK!

"See you later, Jim! Have a good day!"

Jim starts walking along the sidewalk, then stops, turning back to you. "By the way, Scott, why did you choose a Kangaroo?"

Suddenly defensive, you exclaim," You have a problem with Kangaroos?? I like Kangaroos; they're great! Strong, tough and best of all, bipedal (no offense, Fred)! Why do you ask?"

You feel a tingle through your body that makes your fur stand up as he says, "Just curious. I am glad you chose an animal that you really like. Goodbye!" He walks away.

You look at Fred. "Now what?"
