You now recognize the old man, whose appearance in a transformation story never should have surprised you in the first place. "No, the drink will not be necessary," you tell him. "Tell you what: you do way too many sex changes, and the Internet hardly needs another werewolf. Since you obviously want to alter me somehow, why not make me . . . oh, how about a weredingo?
His thunder stolen, the old man blinks confusedly before answering. He nods, as though having to convince himself of his own words. "Yes, I suppose . . . how do you . . . no matter. A weredingo you say? That might be kind of interesting, actually. Just give me a second to prepare the spell."
