You suddenly let out a large belch! Embarassed, you cover your mouth as your body expands once more. The top of your stomach rolls over the edge of the hole in the street, making it painfully obvious that you'll never fit through. "Okay, Fred, this isn't gonna work. Help me get out."
It is much easier for you to get up and out rather than in, and you sit down panting, already starting to feel the effects of gaining more weight. Sadly, you look at the open manhole and come to a decision. "Fred, you're gonna have to go it alone from here."
"No way, we're a team! We'll find another way", he replies.
"I don't think so", you sigh, looking down at your expanded paunch. "You go through the tunnels, and I'll see what I can do up here."
After much arguing, Fred finally agrees to go into the tunnels alone. With one last look at you, he starts climbing down the ladder, one paw at a time. You watch and absentmindedly scratch yourself until a sudden belch reminds you not to do that ... and you put on another couple of pounds. The alleyway is becoming quite snug.
Looking out at the street, you see that it is miraculously empty of people. This may be your chance! You can either walk the streets, or try out the refreshment room, which has convenient double doors ...
