Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

A new approach to dieting.

You look yourself over, and find you've lost at least a couple of inches off your waistline. This is impossible, you think. You decide you need to test this hypothesis and walk to the exit of the alley. The crowd is there, but not as dense. You look around for a food stand or a restaurant. The Water Hole, a hamburger stand, is across the street. Quickly checking the crowd, you run across the street into the alley entrance. The entrance is locked, but pulling back on the handle with your still-ponderous weight soon fixes that.

The inside of the place is empty, since the restaurant is closed at the moment, but there's plenty of leftovers from their last opening. You devour all the food you can find, gorging on even some of the uncooked beef. Watching your belly, you find that the more you eat, the thinner you get. As a further experiment, you rub your stomach, causing youself to belch ... and a fresh layer of fat encases your body. Still, you have lost much weight. You continue to eat until finally you look like a professional body builder. Okay, you think, eating is good, belching is bad, easy enough to remember. Now to find Fred. You dash across the street to the manhole and easily slip through.
