Fred-man gives a sigh and leans back, his fingers forming a steeple in front of him. "It wasn't supposed to be like this. This wasn't what I had in mind." He looks at you, wishing you would sit apparently, but then goes on to explain.
"I don't know what that wolf told you, but this wasn't what I wanted to do. I was messing around with spells, wanting to make a were-wolf form, not this measly weak form." He scowls slightly. "Do you think I wanted to be like this? Spilling groceries around. Unable to have a strong bite? I wanted opposable thumbs, not THIS."
You look at him confusedly and he continues. "I don't know how to fix it." He stands, placing the book down on the table. "Maybe you can help me though?" He motions towards a door. "Downstairs are the recordings. My reading ability isn't as acute as most humans, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd help me study these writings..."
