A whole new Yous

Just when you feel that the weight of your body is going to kill you, the individual rolls start to slough off. Each one starts to spasm as new organs form. You continue to dissolve until the original you is left underneath it all. However, a quick look around confirms that there are a dozen other "you"s in the room now, formed from the shed flesh of your earlier transformation. As you cast your gaze about, a familiar fist flies at your face.

After being given a black eye, the you(?) extends a hand to help you up.

"You ATE me," he says with virulence. You start to feel dizzy as you realize that each of these bodies, minus the ones occupied by the minds of Luke and his cousin, are telepathically connected and controlled by you.

"So, how are we going to get our bodies back?" the cousin asks.

"Well, we can try the tome again," you point out. "And this time I have about ten retries..."
