Case of Mistaken Identity?

"Need some help?" you ask, spitting wallet into hand and loping up to her.

"Oh, what a fine young lady you are," she croons gratefully, dropping the bag into your arms. You nearly tip over backwards (it's got to weigh at least 50 pounds, and being a chimp doesn't help much). A few strands of leather hang out the top, looking like they might be the ends to a horse's bridle.

"Actually, I'm a guy," you grunt, valiantly staggering towards the car door. "Note the tie."

"Oh, there now, no need to be shy," she says, "there's nothing wrong with being female. Why I once knew a ... Jamie ... is that you!?"

You peek over the rim of the bag, wondering if the day could possibly get any weirder. The lady has her glasses on now and is staring at you with the look of a programmer just handed 128 megs of RAM.

"It's been so long, I knew one of these days you'd think to come back to your old auntie Susie! Let's go home and you can tell me all about your trip to Africa!"
