"I agree," you say, giving a faint wolfish grin.
"Excellent. To speed up the birth, we must do as Khaal'Lia normally do to create seeds - we need both blood and violence, a constant stream." The female voice sounds horribly eager for more to die.
"Do MORE have to die?" you sigh, reluctant.
"You agreed to the deal. You have no more consent in the matter." The voice is now brisk and stern, and suddenly you feel the vine-like tendrils whipping through your veins, totally taking control of your body. You are powerless to stop it - you run back to town on all fours, your eyes shut, occasionally crossing a hitchhiker or traveler. You don't see them, but you hear "Hey, man, got a li... AAAAAAA" or "Wow, great cos-", and then the splatter of blood. You slowly feel your stomach becoming larger, the baby wolf-human-Khaal'Lia growing steadily. You chance a look down - and feel it kicking. You are overwhelmed by maternal instincts... but you musn't grow attached. It is a demon, after all. You close your eyes and continue blindly rampaging.
Some time later, you come to town, and hear the screeching of brakes and very loud screaming.
"Open your eyes - it looks suspicious like that," hisses the voice, and you feel your eyelids snapped open against your will.
"And a rampaging she-wolf is perfectly normal," you sneer, but keep your eyes open - it WOULD look odd, even for a rampaging female wolf, killing all in its path, to have its emerald-green eyes closed. You sigh and consent to looking at the terrified faces of your victims. It soon becomes fun - a game. You actually take minor control of your body and help the Tendril-Woman kill.
"You are a good killer... you will make a good Khaal'lia." The female voice is faintly amused. "Soak up the terror they expel - soak up their blood. You are a sponge for their feelings, and you musn't succumb to the pitiful ones like pity and joy. Soak up fear, thrive on terror, feast upon horror and aggression and anger." After a while of killing, you actually get FULL control of the body - the Tendril-woman apparently thinks you a better killer than her! And it is kind of fun - slashing heads off, gutting people, strangling one person with the guts of another, throwing and crushing.. Destroying. Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain in your stomach.
"It's coming! I feel it!" Both you and the Tendril-Woman say in unision. Hm - so your feelings are somehow linked together, when she inhabits your body! That's VERY interesting... but you push it to the back of your mind for now. You stop killing and howl, driving off the remaining few people, and drop upon the ground. Immense pain is balled up in your stomach and every few seconds a sharp pain courses through the lower part of your body. You howl and howl, and hear the shrill screaming of the Tendril-Woman. After a mercifully short hour of this, you hear a gush of liquid... and then a dark voice hissing "Mother..." in guttural tones.
You open your eyes to see a black He-Wolf. He suddenly morphs into a tall, handsome man - then into a loathsome, slimy tentacled beast - and finally back into a wolf cub. The Tendril-Woman withdraws and slides from your ear, a mass of slimy green tentacles.
"Son...," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion. The cub transforms into a tentacle beast, and the two meet in a long, passionate hug.
"Thank you so much. You are now an honourary Kaal'Lia. You may turn into a tentacle beast anytime, just by thinking it. You may also turn back into your normal form, and possess humans, as well as transform..." She gives a small smile - she has some vaguely human features hidden in the mass of awful green tentacles and slime.
"Just like that?" you ask.
"... Now!" she says. As she says ' now ', a tentacle shoots out - a purple one with a sharp point. It jabs you directly in the heart. And then, to your surprise and faint horror, you feel new tentacles growing throughout your body.
"They're just your own tentacle self, taking root. Once it settles, you may transform and use the gifts I have bestowed. Use them well, She-Wolf. Farewell." The tentacle beasts both disappear in a flash of golden light... and then you collapse.
