One a Day

Your bunny ears seem to pick up sound very well, and you hear Sally and Fred arguing over something.

"...three a day is too many," Fred finishes.

"But the auction makes good money," Sally says.

"Even so, if three people go missing from the area everyday someone might catch on," Fred counters.

"So what? I can deal with cops," she snorts.

"What if another magic user catches on?" he asks.

There is a pause, then she starts again.

"I don't want to think about that. You know I need at least one a day, though, honey."

"I know," Fred says, "and I don't want to see the consequences of that."

You can hear sort of slurpy kissy noises, but their conversation has definitely stopped.
