You shake your head "no", just enough that she peers over her glasses.

"You know, I almost thought I saw that cat say no! Dr. Norris, I may be a sentimental old fool, but you're right in a way. Snowball is a purebred, and should be bred. Goodness, many folk would like a nice Persian kitten!"

Dr. Norris shrugs. "Ok, I'll cancel the surgery. I know a few breeders who can set you up with a tom. Let me know when she shows signs of heat."

Wait a minute, what else did that pie do to you? You do a very cat-like lick. Yep...
