Like what?

You decide that you've got to get back to your house. Cat or no, at least you won't have some fussy old lady picking you up every hour and petting you. Although, you have to admit, that does feel pretty good.

You find your mind wandering more and more, thinking rather embarassing thoughts about other cats. Specificaly male cats. You realize that just escaping and wandering around town would not be in your best interests- even you can smell that you're putting out what can only be called an "I'm available" scent.

You decide that the next time Mrs. Jenkins has guests, you'll escape and hide in their car's undercarriage, then from there, make your way across town to your house.

The next day, Mrs. Jenkins opens the door, and a middle aged woman carrying a male Persian comes in. You stare at him like a teen aged girl stares at a rock idol. You feel very strange stirrings. While you deal with this, the door closes, and they put the two of you out back in the garden.

"Let's have some tea while they have a bit of private time" say Mrs. Jenkins. The other lady giggles. You turn to watch them close the back door, and- Oh. My. God. This is seriously weird. But it feels pretty good.

Mrs. Jenkins keeps you out back now, leaves you a kitty box and some blankets. The other lady brings her cat over a few more times, and you react the same way. Geez, you have no self control at all.

In a few weeks, you start putting on weight and nesting. Sometime thereafter, you're a mama cat. You decide to stick around a bit to raise them and are a bit sad when the kittens get sold off so quickly. You really liked the cute little guys.

It seems like you've been a cat forever. Do you even remeber how to get back to your old place? Even if you got back there, what would you do? Hang around and annoy the new neighbors? How are you going to recover your old life?

Of course, you could stay with Mrs. Jenkins. But you've already heard her on the phone talking to the cat breeder. Do you really want to go through THAT again?
