Off the beaten path...

Standing in front of the brick house, a belly bulging from the consumption of the first two pigs, you are about to start climbing toward the chimbney when you stop. You remember the ending to this story, and the wolf never ended up good in the end.

"Forget this," you say, and turn around and walk down the path away from the house. Soon, however, you find that Lengths has once again changed the scenery, finding yourself in the middle of a dark wood, assortment of wild flowers growing in verious places. For some reason, the scene seems familiar. Soon you learn why, as a little girl in a red hood carry a basket skips merrily on the path. You've stepped out of one fairy tale, and strait into another. You belly rumbles, even after the two pigs, your still famished, dispite the tug on your shirt front where your stomach buldges. Might as well play along, you think.

"Hello little girl," you say, stepping out from behind the trees, "Where are you off to?" Little red stops, looks you over, then says in a sweet voice, "I'm off to visit my grandma, she's sick, and I'm bringing her this basket of goodies to make her feel better. She ives at the end of the path." You almost laugh, this was getting too easy. "Would your grandma also enjoy a beuquet of those lovely flowers," you say, and on que, little red is off the path picking wild flowers while you are off to grandma's house.
