Roach Man!

Kind of catchy, isn’t it? No? Too bad, because that's what you're turning into. Your white blood-cells, working overtime, fight off the foreign chemicals in your body. In the scramble to return you to your former biological make-up, your red blood-cells cut corners where they can, filling in missing pieces of your DNA with that of a roaches.

Unfortunately, you don't have time to admire your hardened carapace, antennae, mandibles, compound-eyes, claws, oddly jointed legs or extra set of arms (though you take note of those) before the cloud of... Well, whatever it is, spots you again. You throw open you closet and take out something you ordered from a catalogue.

A flame thrower. 'Uses the same technique as watering your rose bush,' said the catalogue. Time to put that claim to the test. You fire the untested weapon at the cloud, which responds by exploding in a ball of flame. Had you been human, you surely would have burned to death, but your insect exoskeleton seems to make you invulnerable to fire. So the form is not without its perks. Your apartment however is not fire-proof, and you see the room is mostly in flames.

You rush to your room and begin to throw on clothes, partly out of an insane urge to maintain some semblance of decency, partly so that people don't scream and run-away in horror when they see you. A plain-white tank-top to allow some free movement for your four arms, some boots and fairly baggy pants for your strange legs, and then a trench coat and a fedora to top it all off.

You grab a suit-case of guns and ammunition, your wallet and a cell-phone before you flee your burning abode. Outside, you watch as your house bursts completely into flame when the heat ruptures a gas pipe. You hear sirens in the distance. Best make your self scarce. If you were someone else, you would probably find it hard to believe a giant talking cockroach if it told you its house was burnt down by a colorful cloud of who-knows-what.
