Hiding a Wolf

Realizing there's no time you tell the wolf to find a place to hide while you stall the officers.

"We heard there was a gunshot disturbance relating with a wild animal." the police explain. You simply tell them that it was next door but that fails miserably when you find out that from both next door areas called upon the incedent. And as if things didn't get any worse they ask you to let them inside.

Being a gentleman you allow them inside but not without making sure the wolf was there. The police roam around and find blood stains and bandages. The police know what you are thinking and ask if the wolf was talking. Realizing that they're after the wolf and not you, you tell them the truth.

The police make no explanation after you tell them what happened and simply run after you. They pull out their pistols so you stop immediately. Pull out your pistol and start shooting randomly in thier general direction. Realizing that all twelve shots missed, you run at them as sort of a self defense insinct.

"HOLD IT! Right there." the police start thier negotiation training "Ok we don't want any trouble son, just come with us quietly." You become enraged and start shouting, "WHY? I didn't do anything wrong!" Again the police talked in their trained voices, "Since you don't have a weapon any more we cannot shoot you. But just in case..." And she pulls out a little pea shooter. and opens a little sac. You hear her partner whispering "This one's frisky, better make him a harmless like a rabbit or a squirrel." as she fondles for the right one. But what is going through your mind is why she's taking her time.
