Why would werewolves need knives?

"What about knives?" you ask, padding out of the pantry on your bare toes.

"What are knives?" asks Jason.

You sigh. Just because you stopped to help some talking wolf, you're tied up head to foot in the pantry of a werewolf family!

"Hold on. I might be able to chew you free!" says Jason.

"Well whatch those chompers of yours!"
