"Fred? I thought you were a wolf. How did you become a kangaroo, and a female one at that?"

"Female??" gasps Fred

"Only female roos have pouches" you explain.

Fred lifts /her huge roo foot to look between her legs and is shocked at what (she finds there - or rather, doesn't find there!
