Fred goes ape too, but in a less literal sense.

You knock on Fred's front door - and knock a large hole in it. That should really get his attention! You reach in and open the door anyway, then squeeze through.

When Fred sees you he backs away in the corner in fright! "It's ok Fred, it's just me!"

You explain to Fred about what happened. "I wonder if more bananas will change you back?" he muses
