Running (and sweating) bear

You turn and run, leaving the waddling penguins behind. But you soon get hot and tired and stop in the middle of the street, panting. It's far too hot for a blubbery polar bear to be charging around like this. You really need a dip to cool down, but the only sign of water you can see is a manhole cover and you're not sure you can fit down it..
