A specimen or a savior?

The doctor has Guido undo your bonds and drag you over to a large room resembling a prison cell and throw you in. "I'll be back to examine you more later," the doctor sneers. There's something about his tone you don't like. The doctor leaves Guido standing guard outside the cell. You pound on the door and beg him to let you out, but he either ignores you or cannot hear you through the metal door. You head over to the other side and sit down on the cot under the barred window.

It takes you a moment to realize that the incoming light is just as dank as the light in your cell. You look through and see another cell, containing a very strange looking creature. It resembles an anthropomorphic fox, but it has small wings on its back, and its tail is long and sleek rather than bushy. Also, its fur is a dull blue instead of red.

The existence of the creature doesn't frighten you so much as confuse you, since the doctor said that until you, the art of transformation has eluded him. "Hel-hello?" you call out to the creature. The creature turns and looks at you, then sighs. "What are you?" you ask, wondering why you're not afraid of it. Possibly because it, too, is a prisoner.

The creature sighs again. "My name is Vaseth Jorg-H'gar" the creature says in a smooth male voice. "I hail from planet Askit, in the galaxy you call Andromeda. I was to be the Askitan ambassador to Earth. But upon descent, my ship's gravity compensators failed, and I crash-landed. Injured from the crash, I was unable to resist as that crazy human attacked me, dragged me back here, and placed me in this cage." Vaseth pauses as though considering something, then, "What's your story?"

A bit surprised by the question, but not wanting to offend by refusing, you give Vaseth a summarized version of what happened to you. He seems to take it all in stride, but you see him twitching and lashing his tail when you tell him of the torturous methods Lengths used to try - and eventually succeed - to transform you.

Not long after you finish, you hear the door slam open, and you turn to see the doctor stride in. He walks over to you and grabs your arm, pulling you towards him. "Now, how shall I make use of you..." he sneers, the smirk on his face revealing exactly what he intends to do.

Suddenly, as quick as lightning, a blue arm shoots through the cell window (between the bars). A blue three-fingered hand wraps around Lengths' neck, and he releases you in shock. It takes you only a second to realize that Vaseth is protecting you. Guido moves as though to protect his master, but Vaseth squeezes harder and shouts out "Back off, or I'll snap his neck!" The terrified doctor quickly motions for Guido to stand down.

"Alright, alien," Lengths chokes out, "What do you want?"

Vaseth snarls. "Freedom. For both me and for this one." He gestures to you with his other hand. "Also, you will restore this human's true form, and return my spacecraft."

The doctor just glares, but another squeeze from Vaseth brings him in line. "Alright, alright! Guido, open up cage #12." Guido obediently leaves to do so. "Alien, your spacecraft is in the storage room. Out your cell door and to the left, and all the way to the end."

"Good," hisses Vaseth as Guido opens his cell door, "Now, restore this human's true form."

"I-I'm afraid that's impossible," trembles the doctor, "E-experiment FCP was never designed to have a reverse process. The transformation technique I used is the only one that works, it only works for FCP, and is one-way only. S-she can never be returned to male form!"

Vaseth growls and knocks Lengths unconcious, then dashes out of his cell, simultaneously pushing Guido in and slamming the door, effectively locking Guido in the cell. You quickly head for the door to your own cell, and are surprised to see Vaseth dashing for you. He grabs a hold of you and leads you down the hall and to the doctor's storage room (just at the end of the hall after the cell block ends, just as Lengths said). Vaseth smashes the door open, and you are greeted with the sight of Vaseth's spacecraft: A small, sleek craft, no bigger than an average sports car, and obviously designed for speed. Vaseth opens the windshield and bids you get in as well, something you do with only slight hesitation. Once inside, you find the craft just barely big enough for the two of you. Vaseth guns the engines and smashes out - via the roof.

But just when you think you're in the clear, an alarm goes off in the craft. You look back, and see a helicopter following you, piloted by none other than Lengths and Guido!
