In a traditional werewolf manner, you hold your head up high and howl at the full moon. Even though you're a werewolf, you're still fully in control of your actions. You don't want to hurt anyone, you're just showing off, giving people a shock.
When you leap out onto main street though, you're the one to get a shock. The street is crowded, but not with people - at least not people in the human sense. Everyone you see is an animal, or at least an anthromorthic one. There are foxes, racoons, rats, wilderbeasts, even a hippo that's stuck in a shop door. Looks like your family aren't the only ones to have been transformed.
What's really strange is that none of them act as if they have changed - as if they've always been animals, never people.
