Thorny problems

Sitting on a wide flat rock is a strange dinosaur of a kind you have never seen before. For starters, it is huge. Not just big, but fat too, with humongous pot belly, multible chins and large clawed feet, one of which it seems to be clutching while wailing loudly. Bravely you move forwards for a closer look and see the it has a thorn stuck in it's foot that it can't reach!
