Correct Mage, Incorrect Approach

"Pardon me, good sir, but I happen to notice that you are a mage. This is true, is it not?" You inquire.

"Why yes, I do happen to be a mage. Is something of the matter?" He replies.

Thinking quickly on how to fool the mage into transforming your wolf friend, client, acquaintance, whatever you may call him, you cook up a nifty little lie. "My friend and I are in a great pickle. You see, we were messing around with some potions from a magic shop. My friend here accidentally drank one and turned himself into a talking wolf. Do you think you could turn him back?"

"Well let me see..." the mage said as he suspiciously inspected the wolf. "What is his name?"

"Luke," you quickly reply without thinking.

"Just as I thought. You really thought you could fool me into returning this numbskull into his original form? HA! You must be joking. And, for meddling in the affairs of mine, I shall now curse you as well. I hope this new form DOESN'T suit you!" With that being said, he quickly revealed a wooden cane that glowed a brilliant blue before shooting a bolt into your heart. That's when you felt especially peculiar.

"Oh no..." you caught Luke mutter as you noticed that the transformation had begun. Suddenly, an intense pain shot through your entire body. It was to much for you to handle. When you finally came to, Luke was standing above you, still a wolf. You got up and noticed that you had been transformed into a...
