...he's gone. You just blinked. Just once, and he inexplicably disappeared. You turn around and see that he was now hanging from a noose. Scared now, you back away and slowly turn, ready for the most hideous of things. You see a sight you weren't ready for. It was you. But dead. Lying, limp, upon the ground, human. You approach it when suddenly you hear a ghastly voice.
"So it appears that you have gained Luke's form. I noticed him a while back. I suppose you are wondering what is going on." Without a chance to reply, there is a flash of lightning, and the figure of a powerful mage is silhouetted against the end of the store. "I find that this form is not for you. A wolf is not who you are. A curse you have been given, it will not be lifted, but merely altered. A town of dead you have stumbled into..." Another flash and Luke is suddenly there, in front of you, hanging in a noose. "...a town where none have escaped alive." One last flash and everything is gone. The man, the dead you, Luke, the mage's silhouette. You are left startled, frightened, and alone. That is when you walk outside, when rain starts to pour. That is when a pain greater than any you have experienced rips through your body. You pass out and awaken later, only to discover that you had indeed been transformed yet again.
