Suprise!

I pause for a moment. What now? I take a deep breath and nod to myself. Slowly I grab the edge of the window and peek around the frame. My eyes slowly adjust to the dark interior and I can see muddy footprints heading off farther into the house. I take a hesitant step to be in front of the window. I lean in and as I do the wolf comes leaping out of the window at me. "Ahh!" I screach as I fall back. The next thing I know I'm sitting in a mud puddle feeling the cold earth with a giant wolf on top of me.
