You go to the cave and find someone there - God! "Uh, what's going on?" you ask. "Hey, uh let me tell you something," He says, "When you were in the normal world, you were a really, REALLY good guy, so I decided to let you use the portal both-ways. Good?" "Good" "I also decided to turn back time to right before you were stabbed so you can prevent that knife from stabbing you." "YES! YES! YES! YES!" You jump into the portal.
