Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

Midnight snack.

You wake sometime during the night, your stomach growling. Your blanket lays on top of it, not wide enough to cover your bulk. You groggily look at the clock. 12:15. Sighing, you roll over, convinced that if you just ignore your stomach and go back to sleep, the morning will come all the more sooner. You then realize your motion has caused the blanket to slide off you massive sides and onto the floor. Groaning, you get up and reach for it, only to find you're unable to bend that far with the flabby roadblock in the way. You have to get all the way up and lean all the way forward before you manage to bypass it, by which time your exertions have woken you all the way up, with your stomach still protesting. Tossing the blanket on the bed, you squeeze out of your door and walk down the hall and downstairs, the floorboards squealing in protest all the way.

You spot the box of pizza from last night, have finished, and decide, why not. It's not like a few slices of pizza are going to make that much of a difference now. You'll work it off tomorrow. You open the box and take out a slice, biting into it and chewing. Cheese and pepperoni. Really good. You had noticed it earlier that the pizza tasted especially good last night, you think that the pizza place is using a different recipe. You take the next slice, the first not being enough, and it tastes so good. The trend of course continues, before you realize it, you've finished off what's left of the pizza. That was that then. You begin lumbering back towards the stairs. Still thinking about how good that pizza tasted. Maybe you should order another one sometime...

You get back in bed and roll over again, covering yourself with the blanket once more. Pizza every once in a while never hurt anyone. And you will work it off at the gym. As you begin to doze off again, the lingering taste of the pepperoni makes you wish that you had ordered another one of those...
