You know better than to quarrel with a manticore, even if you've never seen one until now. You slink off downstairs, and even before you reach the basement, you hear voices. Wolfish voices!
The others notice you approaching, and four pairs of eyes burn through you like branding irons. You are embarrassed when you realize how well dressed the other werewolves are, in comparison toyou and your tattered clothes. Three of the others look downright preppy, while the fourth, presumably the leader, is wearing a leather jacket over more casual attire. "Whom have we here?" asks the alpha werewolf.
