Getting back to (relatively) normal

"Ok, close your eyes," says Fred, you do and hear Fred drag something in. "Albert, you stand over here, just in case." he says, and you hear him setting something up.

"Ok, open your eyes." He says, and you do. You see yourself, somewhat thinner in a mirror. You look down on yourself but don't see any change. "I don't get it, why didn't I change. You say, and examine the mirror. It's then you see that the bed is also thinner. Fred is holding a fun house mirror, the distorted glass making your body look thinner. Even then, you still look huge, just closer to how you were before. "I guess it doesn't work if the reflection is distorted." says Albert. "Wait, one more try, this time, really try to picture it." says Fred, "Close your eyes." sighing you do so. "Now open," says Fred. You do and see your somewhat thinner reflection again, "I don't...," then you realize there's a lack of weight on your body, and look down and see that you've slimmed up... well, back to a obese wolf, but not a blob at least.

"Wait why did it work this time." You look back up to see Fred spinning the mirror, which appears to be a spinning pedestal with mirrors on it. "You saw what you expected," he says, "Sort of a plan B really, but it worked!"

You push yourself up from the rubble of the bed, it feeling so good to be back to regular speed and somewhat familiar weight. "Fred, you are my hero!" you say, moving over to hug him, grateful for this genius fox. Just then you notice the bathroom mirror, and see Fred's reflection from the back, only you see... metal? You suddenly realize that your arms are full of hard metal and Fred is suddenly a lot bigger. You step back and see a suit of armor. "Hey, who turned out the lights?" you hear Fred say, his voice echoing. The armor moves and Fred lifts the visor.

"A knight in shining armor huh?" Albert jokes, "You may want to put some shades on, usually line of sight magic can be locked like that." he says. Fred is busy pulling off the armor, while you quickly rummage through a draw, careful of reflective surface, until you find a dark pair of sunglasses and put them on. "Hey, you buffed me up!" says Fred, and you turn to see him looking in the mirror, admiring muscles similar to those of Albert, though Fred is the fox version.

"Ok, let me test this..." you say, and Fred moves away from the mirror, not wanting to accidentally get caught in something again. You get in front of it and open your eyes, though you only see your fat reflection with shades on.

"Did it work," Fred says from behind Albert.

"I don't know..." you say, not sure how to tell, "Tell me something I can believe about myself."

"Ok... you think your fur is grey but it's really white." says Fred," you look back and still see yourself without change, but your not sure it that actually worked either. "Try something else," you ask, and Fred thinks again, "Your nose is really big and your ears are long!" he says. Still nothing, but again you can't tell, "No something I can really believe." you say, sure that these were things you can easily see were not true. "Ok... you are so fat your shorts have split and you your underwear is showing!" he says. "What really?" you say, trying to turn to see, turning and looking in the mirror to try see if he is being serious this time. But your shorts are fine, no tear, and you know you believed that one. "I think it worked." you say.

"Great. Well, now apparently we have a reality warping wolf on our hands." says Albert. "You know what we have to do now right?"
