Once inside, you take the box of slippers and store it deep in the back of your bedroom closet. As nice as it was of the old man to give you the slippers, you do not need or want them, and you have a funny feeling about them. Years pass, and you forget about them altogether. Finally, while packing your belongings in order to move across the country, you come across the box and open it. Only a few dried-up moths are inside.
