Say cheese...

Rick walks in with an old instant polaroid camera. You've never seen one outside of movies, most people just use digital. "I've had this for years, it's broken and doesn't have any film, but would a curse care about that?" he asks, "And I think it would be funny if a camera really did add 10 pounds or something like that." He hands you the camera, and you examine it.

It looks fine besides missing some of the gears that would usually crank out the photos. "I guess it's better then nothing," you say, wondering how to go about this. You turn it over and look at the lens, thinking of methods you could use. Maybe you could recite a spell, or make a symbol in your own blood. What would a demon actually do. You got the feeling it was nothing so dramatic. "I agree therefore it is..." you say to yourself, mirroring the demons words when you made a contract with it. You think about the camera, and to curse it.

You look at it. It seems the same. You lift it up and look through the eyepiece. It looks normal.

"Maybe you need to take a picture?" Rick says, and poses for the camera. You hit the button, and the camera flashes.

You hear gears suddenly turning, and a blank photo slides out of the slot. You take it out, then look inside. The gears are still missing, and there is no film still.

"Did it work?" Rick asks, rushing over to look at the photo in your hand. "I think it must have, there's nowhere for the photo to come out of."

The photo is still blank, but it seems to be slowly developing. You both wait holding your breath to see what appears...
